Join our panel of experts discussing tips, tricks, and best practices on international production and finance. Everything from working with local governments, finding crews, and shooting on location in some of the most incredible spots in the world. Our amazing panelists: Aycil Yeltan - After earning her degrees in Music and Theater from Ankara and Istanbul State Conservatories, she portrayed many significant roles at Dormen Theater in Istanbul. She earned her MFA at CalArts (USA) in acting and appeared in numerous stage, film and tv productions in Istanbul, NYC and Los Angeles. Ayçıl Yeltan also writes, directs and produces films as well as continues her acting career in independent film productions internationally. Her second short film “Topanga” she wrote, directed and produced won 6 awards in global film competitions and film festivals and continues its journey. Her new film project “Fidan” is going to be her debut in Feature Length Film. Scott Wilson - I started making Super 8 films in middle school in San Antonio, TX.  A brush with ‘fame’ at 14 yrs old sparked my desire to make a living as a cameraman.  Over 40 years later and I still get that spark every time I frame a shot, and for that I’m thankful. As a Director of Photography my focus is to help you tell your story with every shot.  My work includes commercials, reality TV, documentaries, feature films, corporate films and TV series and my career as a cameraman has taken me around the world to India, Africa, Europe, the Amazon, Australia and New Zealand, Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. Kelechi Eke - Kelechi Eke is a Nigerian American Software Engineer and Filmmaker with many years of experience in the world of technology. Despite his astute technical background, Kelechi has always had a penchant for storytelling and creative arts. In the year 2011, he decided to dabble into filmmaking under biGObi Productions. Since then, he has written, directed, produced, and starred in many award-winning films that focus on Africa-related topics and human Rights. On April 20th 2015, Kelechi founded The African Film Festival (TAFF) with the vision to increase the availability of African films in non-African communities. In June 2019, he launched ROOTFLIX - a leading streaming platform for quality festival-qualified films from various countries. Kelechi created this platform to give Independent filmmakers optional distribution channel to showcase their hard work globally. Tom Rubeck - Having grown up in the Metroplex and receiving his BA in “RTVF” from North Texas State University in 1985, Tom began his professional career in video production as a cameraman/editor in Nairobi, Kenya. During his five years in Africa, he helped produce everything from television commercials, to educational films for the United Nations Environmental Program, to local children’s puppet shows. Moving back to the States in 1990, he landed as a field producer at a start-up video production house called Criterion Productions, which later became Pat Summerall Productions, after the sportscaster. While here, he shot in all fifty states, seven countries, and directed such celebs as Robert Wagner, Cheryl Ladd, Chris Everette, Roger Staubach, and of course, Mr Summerall, himself. After the turn of this new century, Tom moved over to AMS Pictures where he directed two televisions series for the health network, Veria, while also producing and directing three documentaries on the famed Tuskegee Airmen. Creatively, he produced a few segments for HGTV, and worked on various series for ReelzTV, including “Murder Made Me Famous”. Tom was also partnered with the more commercial side of AMS, where he oversaw the production of videos all over the world for HP, KPMG, TGI Fridays, Accor Hotel Group, Toyota and many more. Having retired in 2020, Tom does still handle a few free-lance gigs and enjoys keeping his editing skills sharpened from the serenity of his home in Cedar Hill Ibidolapo Ajayi - Ibidolapo is the Producer of the critically acclaimed multi award-winning COMING FROM INSANITY film (Netflix, Amazon, Showtime). Ibidolapo’s passion for the media arts and exposure to the industry in North America and Europe and his entrepreneurial spirit yielded The Movement Pro, Pictures in the fall of 2011.Ibidolapo is an avid arts and sports lover, with a passion for media and entertainment, a visionary full of ideas and an amiable and excellent communicator with great leadership skills which enables him to operate and relate at the highest levels in the business world. Ibidolapo is a Board and registered member of ANCOP (Association of Nollywood Core Producers).
