The Diversity Pipeline Program was created in January of 2016 by MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to identify, develop and grow the pool of qualified women and persons of color for baseball operations front office and on-field roles. The Diversity Pipeline Program has assisted in over 400 hires since the inception of the program.
As part of the 2022 Baseball Winter Meetings, Major League Baseball is proud to present the Diversity Pipeline Program Career Networking Reception on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 8 AM to 10 AM at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego (exact location TBA, outdoor venue). This event is invite-only and not open to the general public and will provide a great opportunity for women and diverse candidate job seekers to network with club personnel and league office employees to discuss current and future job opportunities. The event will include a brief introduction and then will allow job seekers and club personnel to network for the remaining time of the event.
Prior to the event a link will be sent to collect resumes of registered candidates. Resumes of the attendees will then be distributed to MLB club personnel prior to the event.
If there are any questions, please reach out to Tyrone Brooks, Senior Director of the Diversity Pipeline Program at [email protected].
