Edward Hospital Reports 48 Coronavirus Inpatients, 120 Deaths

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital is treating 48 inpatients with confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Friday, according to an email from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. The numbers show a sharp decrease from two weeks ago, when the hospital was treating 86 inpatients. Hartenberger added that one patient died from coronavirus within the past 24 hours. Twelve coronavirus inpatients were discharged from Edward Hospital within the past 24 hours. Since March 24, 1,520 inpatients have been treated for coronavirus and discharged from Edward Hospital.
