CONCORD, NH — Two long-time fugitives of the week in New Hampshire have been caught during the past two weeks, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Meghan Elizabeth Donnelly, 29, an accused drug dealer who failed to appear in court last year and had a second active drug case, was arrested Friday by the joint fugitive taskforce. Donnelly was featured in mid-December 2020 after skipping a Strafford County Superior Court date on an intent to distribute narcotics charge in March. Taskforce members, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, received tips about the case which led to surveillance in Somersworth. The members "observed Donnelly as a passenger in a vehicle on Route 108 in Somersworth," White said. "This vehicle was stopped by investigators on Blackwater Road in Somersworth and Donnelly was arrested without incident," he said. Donnelly was taken to the Strafford County Jail on two warrants — including a second narcotics charge out of Carroll County from December. Donnelly also has active cases out of Rochester on evidence and revocation charges from 2019 and she pleaded guilty to a drug-dealing charge in 2015. She also pleaded guilty on DUI, drug possession, and child endangerment after an incident in Rochester in 2015. Donnelly has several other prior cases and arrests. Taskforce members involved in the arrest include Greenfield police, and staffers from the Rockingham and Strafford County Sheriff departments, along with deputy marshals. Did you like this story? Willem Wonsang, 46, was arrested on Dec. 23, 2020, in Townsend, Massachusetts, on warrants for failure to appear on first- and second-degree assault and burglary charges after a home invasion in Langdon in September 2018. He was featured twice as a fugitive of the week. White said the task force was "relentless" in its pursuit of Wonsang, who they deemed as having violent tendencies and being a public threat. Tips led to the Bay State where Wonsang was seen inside a vehicle in a coffee shop parking lot on Elm Street in Townsend. Wonsang was arrested and brought to the Townsend Police Department to be processed as a fugitive from justice. After a hearing in Ayer MA District Court, he was turned over to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office. Wonsang was accused of striking a homeowner in Langdon with a shovel during a burglary and threatening to kill the man. He was indicted on the charges in November 2018. After the indictment, he disappeared. Wonsang has been involved in a number of other criminal incidents in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts dating back to 2011, according to published reports. White said along with deputies and the federal protective service, Belknap, Rockingham, Sullivan and Strafford County sheriff's office personnel as well as Greenfield and Townsend police officers worked on the case.
