Greetings YMF members, family, friends, and colleagues! Saturday November 19th will be the last day of our ASCE SJ YMF Blanket Drive. We’ll have two (2) parts to this day’s activities, with three (3) ways to participate. Please RSVP through Eventbrite according to how you’d like to join us (we’re excited to see you!). Attend November Social/ Donate Item(s): 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ San Pedro Square Market For our November Social, we will meet for lunch at San Pedro Square Market, located at 87 N San Pedro Street, San Jose 95110. (Participation in the Blanket Drive isn’t required to attend, but it is encouraged. We hope to see you there either way!) If you’d like to donate any sleeping bags or blankets during this time slot, please bring them to this Social. Volunteer to Distribute Donations / Donate Item(s): 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM — near Tully Community Branch Library For our Blanket Drive Distribution, we will meet outside Tully Community Branch Library, located at 880 Tully Road, San Jose 95111. Here, we will hand out the blankets and sleeping bags we’ve collected to those being served by Hope on Wheels. If you’d like to donate any blankets or sleeping bags during this time slot, please bring them to this Blanket Distribution. Note on Donations: All blankets and sleeping bags should be new, or gently used and clean, and in a bag in case of inclement weather. Volunteers: Please come wearing comfortable shoes and clothes for the weather, and bring your own water and some snacks.
