Dazzle in your best holiday elegant wear for our first annual Christmas gala. This black tie and evening gown event promises fine dining prepared by Trina of Kitchen Queenz, dancing and entertainment with local talent and, be ready to participate in raffles and bids for wonderful prizes. Featured key note speakers from city officials and organization leaders to celebrate the spirit of giving this holiday season. This is Journey Out Of Homelessness first gala for our organization. J.O.OH started in 2018 by Pamela Williams out of the trunk of her car. She dipped into her own pockets to assist persons without homes much needed resources such as; hygiene products and $5 for bus fare. Almost 5yrs later Journey Out Of Homelessness has its first transitional home running and is in the process of opening more. We have feed 2000 people and given out over 10,000 toiletry bags. This gala is an effort to do even more in the community. Building emergency shelter, vocational/financial literacy training facility, 24hr daycare and even more transitional housing units.
