“Mature”, musically passionate, skilled, 70 year old bassist seeks cronies for a band situation. 5 decades of bass playing experience. I do sing tenor/lead vox. I have way too much gear. Even more than gear, I have time! Retired from the guitar industry, I am a full time resident for the past 5 years. I'm happy to practice 1-2x a week and gig a couple of times a month, more or less, as required. Likes: Holding hands and long walks on the beach 50s, 60s, Motown, Rock, Pop, Folk, Funk, Beatles, EARLY Stones, Animals, Dave Clark 5 (all Brit Invasion), Country AND Western, or just Country Tight drummers, small kits, deep pocket Competent players who show up on time and prepared Dislikes: Disco (my radio broke upon hearing Donna Summer for the first time) SRV "Slap" (OMG if I wanted to play bongos, I'd buy a pair!)
