Hi, I’ve been trying to find the right situation for a minute here on CL. Everyone I’ve I spoken with is very cordial and I wish them luck in their musical adventures. But I think I’m looking for a tribute band situation or a good R&B, Jazz, Funk band to join or a maybe corporate band that does events, weddings etc..If I can, I would like to work a few times a month in the tribute thing, corporate band or maybe a gig or 2 a month with the R&B band. I will travel too, no problem. Also don’t want to be playing in a bar for 4 or 5 sets till 2am..lol! Anyone have a situation I could slide into? I’m a 45+ year pro who had regional airplay on my CD, that reads and writes with top shelf sounds and equipment. Been in bands and played with named musicians. Can sing lead or background.
