Description
4 female gerbils, 2 bonded pairs, 1 year old (my oldest is 5. They can live up to 8.) $15/pair OBO, or $10/pair if you buy the enclosure & supplies. No pictures (too fast.) Pick up, paypal or cash & serious inquiries only.
Pair 1: solid burmese w/ extremely rare heavy mottled azure slate
Pair 2: solid black w/ very rare solid nutmeg
All 4 gerbils aren't bonded but feel free to try if you have the time, patience, & knowledge.
For $100 I'll add an 18×36×20 enclosure (50 gal) w/ locks. Was over $200+ new. 10×7" driftwood; great for climbing & chewing. $10
Important Info:
Gerbil are primarily herbivorous. The daily diet should have 14-16% protein, 6-9% fat, 10% fiber or more, low ash, 10-12% moisture, magnesium (this prevents seizures; common in gerbils.)
Don't feed a lot of wet or cooked food. It causes issues in gerbils & they don't need it. Dried/live worms are good treats & hay is great for fiber.
Add 5-8" of bedding, an 8-10" wheel, wooden or cardboard houses, toys, bridges... If they let you hold them, try a playpen or gerbil-proof room for 30 mins/day.
