Is anyone in this godforsaken city interested in making the kind of racket you'd hear in Chicago or San Diego or Olympia in the 90s? Gotta be honest: I have no interest in the emo/pop-punk revival. I'm more interested in stuff like Mudhoney, Cat Power, Velocity Girl, Unwound, Sebadoh, Liz Phair, Jesus Lizard, Beat Happening, Helium, MBV, Swervedriver, Throwing Muses, GbV, that sort of thing. I'm not technically gifted or a recording whiz. But I listen to a lot of cool music and try and write cool songs. I'm mainly a rhythm guitarist and singer, looking primarily for a drummer and then maybe other people. I'm looking to do the whole band thing, record, play shows, maybe tour if that's possible.
