Thanks for posting the XOM profit report. Only thing you cut off the article a little short. The next paragraph also reports XOM made 13.9 cents per gallon, that is a very tiny profit. Now think about this: Our governor here in Illinois collects about 54 cents per gallon from the gas tax, and that is without one red cent of investment. And where does all that gas tax money go??? And why you are at it look up how the Priztser family has made money over the years, destroying businesses and stealing the pensions of the workers, not to mention the scandals over the bad mortgages the help provide to people who could not afford the payments and thus lost the homes and all that was profit to the Prizters. Yes XOM made record profits but then they also found a way to be successful during the Biden Shut downs. Too bad all businesses were not that smart. Now I too am a little shocked by the profits from XOM but not nearly as shocked when I see the full story. It is a coward that supples half the facts to prove a point. I wonder how many jobs this nit wit created in his life time. XOM has thousands of people working and living a decent life because of XOM. They probaly even paid off their own college loans like responsible grownups do.
