Description
Two bonded guinea pigs need a home asap. They're littermates and do enjoy each other's company so they must go to their new home together. Uncertain of the gender and age but they are both of the same gender. Ruby (tricolor) is a little shy but Onyx (tricolor gray) is very curious and tolerates scratches under the chin. They will come up to you for their food and treats, they wheek and purr when they hear your voice, and will eat from your hand. They will come with the rest of their pellets, the rest of their hay, their hay bag, their pellet dish, their travel cage (the cardboard bottom they were on in the picture isn't the travel cage, that was a temporary holding place while their travel cage tray was getting cleaned, the actual travel cage tray is plastic), their water bottle, and their log hide. The reason for rehoming is that I am severely allergic to guinea pigs and the hay that they eat, so they aren't getting as much bonding time with a human as they should be and the care is significantly harder for me as an allergy sufferer. They have never tried to nip or bite me, even getting picked up on occasion to move them while their cage was being cleaned.
I'm hoping to rehome them to someone who has guinea pig experience or has done their research on guinea pig care/feeding. I'm asking $40 for a rehoming fee for both to make sure that they're going to a good home. Their cage is worth $60 by itself, not including the other supplies and the guinea pigs themselves, this is an exceptional deal on exceptional little piggies who really need a home as quickly as possible.
Thank you for reading, hope to hear from you soon!
