WEST CHESTER, PA — A three-vehicle crash near West Chester this week resulted in DUI charges for one driver, who police say had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. Michael J. Krieg, 41, has been charged with DUI Highest Rate of Alcohol after West Whiteland Township police responded to a three-vehicle accident near E. Boot Road and Pottstown Pike on Wednesday around 2:45 p.m. Police reports state Krieg's Blood Alcohol Content was more than 0.16. The legal limit is 0.08. Court records show Kreig pleaded guilty to DUI Highest Rate (BAC 0.16+) in September 2017. It was his first offense, according to the court docket. Krieg at that time was fined $1,000 and had his driver's license suspended. He was on probation for two years after in June 2008 pleading guilty to Recklessly Endangering Another Person, court records state.
