Description
Join LINC members to help sort and organize new toys, books and other gifts that will be distributed to Dane County families in need through Toys for Tots. For several years, the Marine Toys for Tots program has made it their mission to distribute new toys, books and other gifts to Dane County families in need – so that everyone may experience the joy of the season. This year, in order to better determine which families are most in need, they’ve partnered with United Way of Dane County to implement a new toy distribution process through community partners. With that, we need volunteers to help sort and organize toys to be delivered to each community partner who is hosting a Toys for Tots distribution. Volunteers will be referencing spreadsheets to organize toys for each site. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water as you will be up and moving during the entirety of your shift. Arriving at The Marine ReserveThe Marine Reserve is gated. When you arrive, use the call button to be let in. Drive straight and you will see the storage bay on your left. If you have any issues, please call Mike at 585-978-6246. About LINC (Lead. Impact. Network. Change.)We are introducing a new generation of philanthropists to United Way.
