Description
Hey families! Looking for a throwback to the Santa's Secret Workshop of your youth for your own kids? Wanting to get a jump on the holiday shopping? Miss those treasured handmade gifts in a sea of electronics? Our event is perfect for YOU then! Sign up for a 30-minute time slot for your kids to make 1-2 presents for someone they love this holiday season. They'll be able to wrap it and take it with them when they depart. You can hang out in the lower level of the CoHatch building (there is computer space, pinball machines, a kitchen and restroom) or enjoy the Worthington Holiday Open House on the green. If your child wants to make additional presents, the entry fee will go towards the price of the items. (If your child(ren) wants to make more than 1-2 gifts during their time slot, we will have PayPal, Square, accept cash and checks on-site to cover any additional nominal fees.) All proceeds will benefit the 2nd family playroom at OSUCC-The James Cancer Hospital and the 3rd family playroom TBA. When you check out, please indicate your child's age and potential gift option for supply purposes. Hope to see you there! Happy Holidays! Please read our COVID-19 waiver here, that you accept when purchasing tickets: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Slwk_ewjFVX31pMfTvxla9zI77Ct_lfFkiBG1Lmal5U/edit?usp=sharing To keep everyone safe, we ask that families pick up and drop off promptly for activities. Families are encouraged to stay together for their designated time slot if siblings are participating in the elf workshop together. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the event, as well as hand washing in the bathrooms throughout the building. Mask guidelines are according to the Columbus Public Health Department: COVID19 guidelines . Masks are optional. We ask if you are ill on the day of the event, that you please not attend. If you are local, I am happy to drop off workshop items to your home after the event.
