The 2nd Annual Community Voice Award honors an organization and an individual making a lasting impact in their community. This year we are celebrating 8 years of being on air providing a unique platform based on human rights, social justice and honoring independent voices.
On December 1, 2014 WHIV went live on World Aid's Day under the call letters WHIV to raise awareness for HIV and give a voice to so many wishing to be heard in our community.
This year's event will feature New Orleans own Sam Price and the True Believers -playing some Soul/funk/groove rock music and spreading positive lyrics and energetic vibe.
