Learn weaving basics and make a wall hanging with Jillian Festa of Birdsmouth! Create fun designs and have a fun time in class. Discover how to add yarn to a frame loom and prepare it for weaving, find solutions for common weaving challenges, maintain structural integrity of a weaving, remove yarn from the loop, approach finishing techniques, and much more! Jillian Festa of Birdsmouth is a Long Island-based maker. She taught herself how to Weave in 2017 and has never looked back. The craft of Weaving is very portable and quiet, contrary to her woodworking practice. Weaving is a way for her to design on the fly, with immediate gratification. Jillian also enjoys macrame, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and making lots and lots of dust while woodworking. Materials included in the class Refund Policy: Seating for this class is limited and tickets are nonrefundable.
