Organized over 50 years ago, The Strivettes is a group of Christian, charitable, community-minded women striving for excellence which grants scholarships to worthy students, offers services to the community and provides wholesome fellowship for Christian women. The Strivettes began providing scholarships to students in 1984 through its “Adopt A Student” program. The first awards went to 2 students and totaled $750. Because of contributions from people like you, we have been able to expand the program and provide over $650,000 in scholarships to over 400 students since that time. In years past, we have organized various fundraisers to continue to grant scholarships to students in the Chicagoland area, who are either attending college for the first time or continuing their education. To this end, on Saturday, December 3 rd , 2022, we will host our 15th Annual Scholarship Luncheon. We invite you to join us and celebrate the achievements of our current recipients while we work to raise money for next recipients.
