The Irvine Police Department invites members of our local house of worship security & leadership teams to participate in our upcoming emergency response tabletop exercise. Through a discussion-based approach, members of IPD's Threat Management Unit will proctor a simulated emergency security breach to challenge participants to identify and overcome vulnerabilities in physical security, emergency response strategies, communication tactics, and overall emergency operations. This is a low stress training exercise that will link members of various organizations together to work through the pre-planned scenario, capitalizing on concepts we have learned throughout the year in previous trainings. We will also be providing lunch to all participants for our last training of 2022. Please register with your House of Worship under the "Organization" section and we look forward to seeing you and your security teams at our meeting.
