Join us for our second community meeting of the Major Taylor Trail Framework Plan on Saturday, November 19th from 10am – 12pm. The Major Taylor Trail Framework Plan is an initiative led by Far South CDC and the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) to create a vision for neighborhood-oriented investments around the Major Trail between 104th and 125th streets. We invite you to share your input on the overall concept plan including uses for neighborhood sites near and around the Major Taylor Trail. Refreshments will be provided. Big shout out to our community partners Friends of the Major Taylor Trail Chicago, the Major Taylor Trail Keepers, the Major Taylor Cycling Club of Chicago as well as our design team Teska Associates, Brook Architecture, and Rudd Resources.
