Band Looking - Lead Singer

Original rock/alternative band -- currently Ghost Rocket -- is looking for a strong lead singer! (Age 25 - 45 and female is preferable, but not required.) We are looking for someone who is comfortable writing melodies and lyrics, and playing live shows. The more unique your voice, the better! Ability to practice regularly is a must. And, please, no drama, drugs, or bad attitudes. The style of music is groovy rock/alternative/indie, somewhere in the ballpark of the Foo Fighters with some funkier RHCP, Rage Against the Machine style riffs in there. We practice once a week/every other week, and email/text ideas around in the interim. FWIW, we are all around 30-35, have careers, and want to write music and play local shows for fun. We're serious musicians, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. And we're not looking to "make it." At bottom, we want to have a good time hanging out, writing kickass music, and playing out when we can.
