Description

We'll begin the day with movement. Strengthening our body and mind through a 60 min. all-levels total body workout. Dana will coach us through a mindful warm-up followed by bodyweight strength and end with a relaxing cool-down. Learn the importance of strength and muscle health to promote longevity. Coffee, snacks and chats will be provided post class to energize and fuel our bodies. We will then gather as a group for a 30 min. interactive nutrition workshop. In the workshop we'll cover simplifying nutrition, mindful eating, personal energy levels and meal planning, and how to navigate eating and the holidays. Lastly, Jess will guide us through a 60 min.calming yoga session to bring balance to the day and our mind. Give yourself space and take the learnings from her practice with you as we enter the holiday season. A guided meditation and intention will close out our community gathering hosted by the beautiful Maven Salon. - Dana + Jess Note: Please bring a mat and towel! Parking is street parking (25th st and surrounding side streets). About Dana- @DanaGonsalves Dana is a certified personal trainer, group fitness coach and nutrition coach offering private training and small group training both virtually and in-person. Focusing on strength and conditioning to promote muscle health and to move better. Her primary goal as a coach is to educate, teach resilience, and understand you as a whole person to make your goals attainable—With a shift in mindset, trust, and willingness. About Jess- @Balanceandstrive Jess is a private Yoga teacher, a Reiki Practitioner, Stretch expert & Health Coach, also working with corporate wellness & local studios. Jess teaches alignment based Yoga for all bodies, with a focus on building strength (without realizing it), while creating mindfulness and space in your body & mind! In this practice we will combine this after a full body workout so you end leaving completely relaxed and rejuvenated for the rest of your day. We will go deeper in our stretches, and wind down with a little Reiki & guided meditation.
