"Columbia Writers Alliance is awarding three scholarships to assist selected seniors with their post-secondary endeavors. Students will write an essay on the topic of healing from fear in school using the prompt: “Expecting the Unexpected: Issues Facing Today’s Students.” Attendees can expect a great evening of dinner, dancing, and awesome entertainment featuring WLTX Award Winning Anchor, Darci Strickland, the live band of Russell T. and Friends, the comedy team of "Da Grannies, and a secret special guest. Most important is the presentation of scholarships to these deserving students. This is a $100/plate event which will fund our scholarship program. Columbia Writers Alliance is a literary 501c3 tax deductible organization."
