A few months ago I interviewed a young lady by the name of N' Kiia who is diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a condition where a group of plasma cells become cancerous and multiple. N'Kiia is literally dying to live however is slowing dying all while still being a mom and trying her best to stay positive. She truly is an inspiration and really left her mark on me. As if having cancer is not enough, she is also diagnosed with a neurological disorder that causes strokes. It's been a tough road for N'Kiia and in order for her to survive, she needs a stem cell and a blood match. The reason I want to host this comedy event is to help ease the burden that N'Kiia has on a daily basis trying to figure out how to pay for her trips to Boston for chemo, medications, food, housing and overall, help ease her pressures.
