CCW Guaranteed to Pass It is important to us that all students succeed in becoming CCW holders. If for any reason, you are unable to achieve a passing score during range qualification, you will receive a free one-hour private lesson on us. Private lesson with range qualification must be taken within 14 days of classroom instruction. Classroom Instruction Our initial CCW course consists mostly of classroom education where you will learn the legal aspects of carrying a concealed firearm, basic firearm safety and storage, types of handguns, ammunition, malfunctions, shooting position and grip, aiming and firing techniques, mental awareness and the defensive mindset, avoiding confrontations outside the home, responding to an attack outside the home, and dealing with the aftermath of defensive shooting. Range Qualification Many CCW courses discourage beginning shooters from taking their class, but all are welcomed here and we guarantee you will pass qualification or you receive a free 1 hour private lesson and re-qualification*. During range qualification, you will shoot 30 rounds at a standard B27 silhouette target. A passing score is a minimum of 70%.
