Walk with us through historic Elmwood this November, and we'll tell you about the cemetery's trees. There are 90 species identified and tagged, and we're excited to share with you what makes the collection exceptional. From tulip poplars to oaks, pistache to elm, dogwoods to cedars, there is plenty to talk about at Elmwood. The cemetery was even named for a tree. It's in our DNA.
This walking tour takes place twice in November: Saturday the 12th and Saturday the 19th. Both tours begin at 10:30 am. Advance registration is required. Wear your good walking shoes and prepare to enjoy the arboretum(and maybe a little history) of Elmwood Cemetery.
