This event is about us loving us. Social Media and the news often times portray a false narrative about our Black Men. Instead of focusing on their lies we chose to focus on you. The truth about you is undeniable. Your tenacity has been proven by the mere fact that you are still standing. You have overcome so many hardships and set backs but yet and still you strive and move forward. It's not easy and we see the scars we understand the struggle. This night is to honor and appreciate Black Men in our lives as well as in our communities, for all that they do, have done and will continue to do. We love you. *We are looking for South Florida's Best dressed Black Man in Afrikan or Western attire for a $100.00 cash prize. *We are also accepting nominations for 3 South Florida Men who love and support Family. A man who you think is worthy of being honored. He just may be chosen as Our Black Man of the hour, and receive a $200.00 cash prize. Tell us why you think he should be recognized as " The Man of the Hour". *A $500.00 cash prize will be awarded to a Man who embodies what it means to be masculine. Black men have stood the test of time proven tenacity, courage, stamina and willingness to push forward. After all they have faced they are still standing. Mr. Masculine Divine could be a teacher or a preacher. He could be your uncle or your dad, a next door neighbor or friend. A man who stands on his square and takes care of business. A man who is action based, a man who will answer the call, one who we can depend on. A college professor, or a city official. A man who is always doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done.
