Description
Historically, the party that holds the White House loses a lot of congressional seats in the midterms. Democrats lost some seats, but nowhere near the "Red Wave" that many were hoping for. The reason is simple, Trump is very good at motivating people to go vote, especially the opposition.
If you prefer, maybe it was the Democrats Italian space lasers just doing their job.
