We are a new fast paced startup called SellBuddy. We help people sell their used belongings. An important part of the value we provide includes removing sellable items from customer's homes and transporting them back to our warehouse. Sellable items could be anything from small electronics to furniture. Therefore, moving experience helps. Here's what to expect. You'll be driving a box truck or a medium-sized van for every pick up. We can discern which pick ups require two people to lift furniture. For those jobs you'll have a partner. When you arrive at the customer's home, you'll have to make a decision on which items to accept or reject. We'll train you on which items we can and can't sell. For the items you accept, remove them from the house and carefully load them in the box truck or van. You will be provided a uniform. We are primarily looking for part-time work. $20/hr contract labor to start, then, after we gauge if you're the right person for the job, we can place you on payroll. At the moment, someone who can give us 10 to 20 hours per week is ideal. Work will slowly increase over time. We expect to need a full time driver within a month or two. We're in search of a dedicated and ambitious person. As mentioned above, we are fast paced and fast growing. There will be opportunities to rise within the company as we grow. This won't be a normal job.
