NYS Employees Abusing Disability Accommodations

This is to let the public know what's happening at New York State agencies. When the state shutdown because of the pandemic (more than 2 years ago), New York State employees got to work from home. Some of them worked but the rest did nothing while they sat at home collecting full pay. Now, because they don't want to report to the office every day, they're claiming they have disabilities and need "reasonable accommodations" made for them to work from home even though there's nothing wrong with them that prevents them from physically reporting to the office. This is not a joke! These people are collecting FULL SALARIES while sleeping on the job (literally they're in bed), or they're going on vacation and not charging their time. This was reported to the attorney general's office and the inspector general's office but, as expected, they are not doing anything about it....
