Description
A fully functional, non-gigging, classic rock, cover band would like to try out a decent lead player who just wants to play in a nice environment every other week or so for a few hours. We'd like to be able to do more Beatles, Stones, CCR, ZZ Top, Petty, Skynyrd, Who, and other lead-oriented stuff.
We have a studio and great equipment... just bring your guitar.
We are decent, mature, players (keys, lead and backup female vocals, percussion, drums, bass, and rhythm guitar), have a solid song list, not druggies or drunks, with no conflict or acrimony. We use cheat sheets and don't try to copy the record... we just do them our way in our keys... simplifying them as needed.
We currently don't do a lot of "jamming", improvisation, or originals, but that could change with the right input and chemistry.
Additional harmonies would be welcome but not required.
Ability to create interludes and mid-song lead jams without blowing everyone out with excessive volume is necessary.
No pressure, no gigs, no BS... just fun.
Song list on request.
