Mainly a 52 yo rhythm guitarist looking for other semi old immature players who are interested in jamming and developing original music while playing some cool covers like the Faith No More War Pig version or Laterlus from Tool just to get the idea.
I have multiple really good original songs fleshed out from the rhythm guitar aspect. Just needs other musicians (Lead/rhythm, bass, drums, male singer/writer) to add their own uniqueness. Typically higher energy in the E tuning kind of songs. If you poured Old Metallica, Alice In Chains, GNR, Candlebox, Godsmack and about 20 other bands into a bucket and added some beer I don’t know what you would get. But that’s the closest approximation I can come up with for how I play. I have some acoustic songs as well but mostly electric.
Just looking for others to feed off of and have a great time. Just imagine being somewhere jamming on a weekend playing stuff we wrote, getting good enough as a band to play a gig or two then seeing where stuff goes. I miss that feeling you get when you create something that you really like as a team. I already have about 14 songs in varying stages so we could start on a few of those.
Not really looking for uptight “studio musicians”. Just looking for other members who LISTEN to what the other players are playing and develop their own theme that matches the general intent of the song. Gotta want to have fun, gotta not be a jerk, gotta understand that every member in the band is equal. While I am at it I wish for a pony too.
