Looking for an appropriate home for a young (18 month old) Alaskan Malamute neutered male. His former home could not provide the proper amount of time and exercise for this young boy. The ideal person or family would be one who enjoys the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping, etc as malamutes require both exercise and mental stimulation. We are looking for a home with no other male dogs, cats, or young children. A fenced backyard is preferred because a malamute will run if not kept in a secure environment.
