Family Event: Nature Ornaments

Description

Come join us to make some holiday ornaments for your family or as gifts. Use wooden shapes to decorate with natural objects such as acorns, maize corn, and other items. Create ornaments from pine cones and magnolia seed pods. Let your imagination soar! Animal ambassadors will also be at the class to offer inspiration. Local artist, Cindy Freland, will also be here to share some of her Chesapeake Bay Adventure books. This 1-hour Family Event class includes: *Admission is $10 per person with 1st adult free. Please note that the instructor will not be able to totally assist a family if there are multiple children with the crafts as this is meant for the family to do together. *Class size is a maximum of 30 with a minimum of 6 required to run. *Live animal ambassador(s) that relate to the class *All materials will be provided for the class. *You do not need to stay the full hour. This is designed as a ‘make & take’ class as we realize that some friends will not be able to stay the full hour. Our goal is for you to have some fun. The family event programs usually have live animal(s). The craft/activities are meant for the family to do together. The instructor will help if possible, but cannot help just 1 family/child. Cancellation and Refund Policy : Full refund up to 5 days prior to event start minus Eventbrite fees.½ refund up to the day before event start minus Eventbrite fees.No refund day of program.If class is canceled due to low registration, full refund including the Eventbrite fees will be issued back to you. After registration, an email will be sent with program forms and the gate code.
