Join us for our “wines throughout the world” 5 course pairing dinner The Wines: Course #1 CHÂTEAU GRAND JUAN BORDEAU AOP, FRANCE 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc Vivid red color of medium depth. Fruity on the palate with supple tannins. Traditional. Course # 2 JAMESPORT RESERVE SAUVAGE, NORTH FORK LONG ISLAND French Oak barrel fermented and aged for 11 months. This wine shows great structure and complexity with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and citrus complemented by a complex and elegant note of hazelnut and vanilla bean. Reach and well balanced with a pleasant mouthfeel. Course # 3 JAMESPORT EAST END FIELD WHITE, NORTH FORK LONG ISLAND Notes of lemon and pear. Floral nose with mild sweetness. A light and easy versatile wine Course #4 MATIAS PINOT NOIR, RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY CALIFORNIA Dark, red/purple in the glass, the nose is rich with ripe, black fruit, baking spices and a touch of mint tea. The palate is mouth filling with layers of silky black cherry reduc1on, brioche and notes of hibiscus and cinnamon. The finish is soft, supple, and satisfyingly long. Dessert #5 MARGARET PINOTAGE Dark damson fruits with an edge of prunes, plums and a tinge of black cherry combine with milk chocolate to make this a heavenly, fruit forward and fresh wine The Menu: Bordeaux Whipped gorgonzola toast, prosciutto, honey, thyme Kale Salad Shaved apple, toasted almond, butternut squash, pumpkin seeds, maple-dijon vinaigrette Halibut Tarragon beurre blanc, artichoke heart, shaved asparagus, charred lemon Spice Rub Duck Cherry gastrique, shaved brussels, potato purée Dark Chocolate Pear Cake Bordeaux/berry reduction, vanilla semi freddo
