Come and ride with the Queen of Pain herself, Rebecca Rusch! Join us for a queer and trans led gravel cycling event open to all experience levels. All are welcome and encouraged to join in this ride that centers and honors queer and trans folks. We will only have one route, but will have multiple meetup points Register for the Event to be eligible to win some sweet swag from our sponsors! Meet at 9am, Wheels down at 9:30. Mid-ride coffee stop at Stouthaus Coffee Pub. ***THINGS YOU NEED*** TIRES! This ride has a fair amount of single track, and it can be rocky. Tires *AT LEAST* 38mm in width are required. This route is best suited for gravel bikes and mountain bikes. NAVIGATION: Every rider must have a way to navigate the route. Strava and RideWithGPS both have free apps that allow you to navigate specific routes. This is a safety issue and is non-negotiable for the ride. HYDRATION: Please bring enough water/electrolytes for the entire course you choose to ride. We will have a mid-ride stop at Stouthaus Coffee. We will have Gu Roctane electrolyte drink and water available for your to fill your bottles/reservoirs before the ride. NUTRITION: Bonking sucks, please don't do it. We will have some pre-ride snacks provided by Gu, but please make sure you have enough food for the entire route you choose to ride. Always better safe than sorry when it comes to food. Feel free to hang out after the ride and enjoy drinks and good hangs with your new gravel buddies. Please consider bringing a camp chair and post-ride snacks.
