Help Us Feed Our Community! Join us on November 20, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm as the Aguilar Realty Group hosts its second annual community Food Drive Event for Shepard's Pantry. The Aguilar Realty Group has chosen to support this cause during a time when we can express and share our gratitude to our loyal clients, friends, and family by donating non-perishable food items to Shepard's Pantry. We will be having a pie giveaway to those who register by 3:00 pm on November 16, 2022. You will have an opportunity to take a Family Thanksgiving Picture so come dressed to impress. Join us for some food, family fun, entertainment, and community building. The Shepherd’s Pantry organization is a result of the merging of two food pantries; Cory’s Kitchen, founded in 1996, and Shepherd’s Pantry, founded in 2004. Since the inception of both pantries, additional services were added to support those individuals and families struggling to make ends meet within the Citrus Valley Communities of La Puente, Baldwin Park, Irwindale, & Glendora. Some of those services include(d) haircutting, clothing store, homeless food program, reading, and math tutoring, Christmas Toy Store, community food baskets, Summer Reading Camp, emergency voucher program, health fair, and a school supply giveaway for a local community. Cory's Kitchen began as a ministry centered in Irwindale and expanded to serve through seven additional site locations at one time. Shepherd’s Pantry began as a free emergency food delivery service with a small group of volunteers delivering food from a storage unit in Glendora. Today there are three pantry locations, each with unique services for their respective communities to add to their food pantry service. Shepherd’s Pantry is a dynamic faith-based organization that sees the unique value of each client treating them with dignity, offering hope with a helping hand.
