Description

Thanks for being willing to consider joining us for a community listening session. These listening sessions are being held on behalf of the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), an agency of the state of Arizona that works to support the health of all Arizonans. This listening session will be led by Black Mothers Forum, Inc., a local nonprofit organization that promotes healthy mindsets and relationships to end the school-to-prison pipeline, as well as staff from LeCroy & Milligan Associates, an Arizona-based research firm helping ADHS to collect ideas and insights from communities across Arizona. This community listening session is occurring because Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) would like to know more about what kinds of programs Arizona communities need in order to thrive. What do you think it would take for your community to feel healthy, well, and safe? What do you think are the strengths of your community, and how could those be supported? How can all Arizonans experience fair and equal communities? You have been invited to a listening session because Black Mothers Forum and ADHS believe that your voice is important in this conversation. Criteria for participation in a listening session is that the individual is a member of a community that has been impacted by arrest / incarceration or serves those who have.
