Join us for Christmas Stories with Ponies!
Local dog groomer, Kathy Bowman, recently suffered from a fall off of her horse that resulted in a broken arm which needs surgery. Unfortunately she’ll be unable to run her local small business (Riverbreeze Dog Grooming, Marietta) for 3 months while she recovers.
Tulip the pony is donating her time to help Kathy read Children’s Christmas Stories to anyone who wants to come! Tollbooth Antiques in Columbia has graciously offered indoor space and seating. We love the idea of bringing several ponies to an indoor urban location for Story time so more people can enjoy them! Kathy enjoys interacting with children and has a deep love for horses. She plans to read a traditional Christmas Story and another Christmas story she is writing herself.
The Pony Preschool is organizing the event to help lift her spirits by combining positive human and horse interactions so she can share something she loves with the community.
The Pony Storytime event is FREE! (please select a ticket so we can plan enough seating.)
Kristoff (the pony) is excited to staff “Kristoff’s Kissing Booth” for a photo opportunity. Sven and Olaf also want to participate and are busy designing a Frozen Scene for photos. All proceeds go directly to the family to help with medical bills and loss of work. Tickets for the photo booths can be pre-purchased here but are also available to walk-ins at the event. Pre-purchased tickets make wonderful gifts and will help us plan ahead!
Sunday December 11th from 1pm-4pm. Stories will be read at 1 and 2pm, with Pony interactions to follow each story.
