DOGGY DAYCARE HANDLER ----- We are hiring temporary dog handlers for the holidays. You must have a great attitude and be someone who loves hanging out with dogs! Should you love the job and do well, this could lead to a more permanent fill in position or even a part time opportunity. You need to be the type of person who can snuggle a pup but also be able to create boundaries. You will be managing dogs large and small who socialize together in a group environment. We do not separate by size. There is a wide range of ages and breeds that you will be working with. There is a lot of clean up as well :) You need to be assertive but come with a lot of patience. You are constantly refereeing play between dogs. A lot of the dogs over the holidays are temp clients so dogs might be shy, reserved or uncomfortable. You need to be the type of person to encourage them to come out of their shell and go out of your way to pay attention to them and make them feel comfortable.
