Position Summary: The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager and is responsible for the operations and continual improvement of their assigned location(s) while demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills. This includes the financial performance of their property(s) including sales, marketing, customer satisfaction, and the physical condition/appearance. Principal Responsibilities: Sales – Maximize sales by managing storage and retail inventory and by continuing to improve the sales presentation of each employee at the store. This includes quality assurance of phone, Internet and walk-in sales leads. Customer Service – Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding quality standards and solid product knowledge from each employee at the store. Maintenance – Maintaining the storage center in a “like new” condition through regular cleaning and repairs. Maintain professional and productive relationship with all maintenance contractors and vendors while effectively supervising their work. Accounts Receivables – Controlling the store’s receivables by implementing and enforcing the procedures set forth by the company in a respectful and professional manner. Purchasing – Responsible for the inventory levels, purchasing and pricing of all retail products at the store to maximize sales. Accountable to ensure the store is stocked with the appropriate cleaning, maintenance and office supplies at all times. Policies and Procedures – Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs and audits, etc. General – Any other responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager. Schedule - 4-day work week (four 10-hour days) and will consist of working rotating Saturdays Compensation and Benefits: • Starting at $16.00/Hour • Commission Potential of $500/month *average on projected sales • 96 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) in the first year • Affordable Medical, and Dental, Vision plus a no cost Telemedicine Plan • Company-paid Life & Accidental Death Insurthe ance with option to Buy-Up • 401k Match after 30-days on Both Traditional and Roth Plans • Company Paid Financial Wellness Program • No Cost Employee Discount and Reward Program Qualifications: • 2-3 years of experience of customer service or sales experience • Self-starter that is creative and capable of handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines • Strong relationship-building skills • Reliable, flexible, and effectively able to manage competing priories • Above average attention to detail with the ability to work with very limited supervision • Possess good judgment and common sense • Team Player • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products • “Roll up your sleeves” attitude
