Anybody wanna start a gothic metal band?

I'm a lead guitarist (also a capable bassist), 29 years old, with my own gear and transportation. I've been writing ideas for a gothic metal project for a while but haven't been able to use them as most bands I've been in or people I've been around have not been interested in this style of music. I'm picturing this being an atmospheric, heavy, melodic style of metal with some post-punk influence also thrown in (and large amounts of chorus). Also, I sometimes draw from other styles, both other subgenres of metal as well as of alternative rock, and my playing style can get progressive at times, too. I don't want to be bound to one subgenre or one style of music (may cause writer's block), or one mood throughout (I mean, look. Type O had humorous and satirical moments too when not writing about romance or depression, but I don't want this project to be a ripoff of anyone's style without any originality) Warning: I do write songs on baritone and 7-string guitars, even though I do have normal 6-strings, too.
