Guitarist looking to start instrumental band

My name is Robby, I am 30 years old and I have played in many different projects, but never an instrumental band. I started playing guitar after the first time my dad showed me Joe Satriani, and from there my passion for instrumental rock grew. I think it would be cool to play a good amount of covers, like Satch Boogie, Cliffs of Dover and Black Star, but then to also create original music. Also would like to play some Steve Vai and I really like SRVs instrumental version of Little Wing.. At this time, I would like to have a good rhythm section. I unfortunately do not have a jam space at the moment, but I am willing to travel within reason. I mainly play a stratocaster through a marshall DSL.
