GSD Male 15 months old (DOB: 8/9/21) In Tact (vet recommends not neutering until 2yrs) UTD on Shots (Rabies due Dec. 1) AKC STAR Puppy Certified Crate Trained House Broken Micro-Chipped Gets along well with female dogs and male dogs his size. Rehoming because he has become aggressive randomly with my daughter's smaller male dog. No injuries yet, but rehoming my daughter's dog is not an option, so I have to rehome this one. Slow introductions recommended due to his past behavior. Gets along stellar with a 90lb older neutered male calm am bully and a 90lb female spayed Dane/blood hound mix whose energy matches his own. Would not recommend cats. He hasn't been around them, but his prey drive is high, so I wouldn't trust him around them. Great with people. Has been raised in a home with medical staff coming in and out daily. He is huge, though, (over 100lbs) and would likely knock little kids down, so homes with bigger kids would be preferable. Loves playing fetch, tug, and is super tolerant of rambunctious kids. He has *a lot* of energy. He needs a large secured yard. He will take an escape from the yard if he finds the opportunity. (...and keep in mind his recent increase in aggression towards smaller male dogs.) Loves his toys but does not chew anything he shouldn't. Does not nip at people. Understands basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, etc. Absolutely hates baths and nail trims. Does enjoy brushing, though. Needs to go back to day one of training recall, as he's in his rebellious teen stage. He is sweet, fluffy, intelligent, and playful. Overall, he has a great foundation to be an amazing dog, but he needs some extra attention to work through his teen issues, and due to recent life change circumstances, I don't have the funds or time available to invest the training he deserves so am looking to find him a more suitable home. Will be selective in choosing the appropriate placement, not in a hurry. $150 rehome fee will be required. Located in Clarksville.
