We are seeking a person with a background in construction to assist in the construction of sheds at our facility in Orlando. Our company is High Point Buildings (d/b/a Florida Shed Outlet), and we are a builder and seller of wooden backyard sheds. We are looking for candidates that have great attitudes and are looking to work hard! The candidate will work in our production facility cutting wood, framing, painting and performing other duties related to shed construction. The candidate should be in good physical shape, and be willing to occasionally work outside in hot weather. Applicant must have transportation to work and consistently pass USDOT drug testing. High school or college degree are NOT required, but a strong work ethic is. The ideal candidate will be able to handle very high levels of physical activity, understand basic carpentry skills, have a positive attitude, be punctual & trustworthy and be prepared to WORK HARD! This person will work 8 hours per day, but OT hours are available. Pay is $19 per hour (plus benefits), and after 30 days, the employee will move to being paid on a commission basis based on the number of sheds built.
