Non-profit cat sanctuary seeking volunteer

Our Sanctuary for rescued senior cats (see cats-cradle.org) is starting an outdoor "cat cafe" at our facility in Lutz. We will offer "cat time" and make adoptions available. Here is a list of duties required of a volunteer. 1. Welcoming customers and being sure they sign a waiver (this will enable them to be with the cats). 2. Explaining the rules for safely interfacing with the cats 3. Taking care of cats (i.e. giving them food and water, changing their litter boxes, etc.) 4. Maintaining cleanliness throughout 5. Overseeing the customer areas to ensure all the cats and people are behaving appropriately. 6. Serving customers snacks and beverages 7. Manage online reservations to visit for “Cat Time” 8. Allow “selfies” with the cats. However, photos must be taken with the flash off. 9. Processing adoption applications submitted by customers 10. Help with events (cats birthday parties, etc) Note: this will be a non-paid position during our trial period.
