Description

Please bring a journal (pen or pencil), mat, cushion, blanket and water. Yoga and the arts are wonderfully complementary, intuitive disciplines rich in creativity and rooted in self-expression. Creating mandalas and practicing yoga cultivate intuition and allow you to connect to your center, to your higher self. During the workshop, you will be guided through a series of yoga postures, followed by pranayama/meditation to prepare you for the creative hands-on portion of the workshop. There will be an opportunity to share in the group and/or in pairs. Creating mandalas is another meditative tool that: - Empowers you, - Allows you to freely express your emotions through your creative power, - Has calming effects and helps with focus No skills are required.
