Work every day developing others? Join a community of practice that's purpose-built for you.
Join us on Friday, December 2nd for lunch and connection at an inaugural Tulsa people-developer meet-up. The only cost is your time and a bit of vulnerability.
Why (since it's a good place to start): Because those of us who do the work to develop people or organizations day in and out sometimes need community. A place to breathe for a minute. A group for connection, feedback, or just for knowing if anyone else is experiencing the headwinds we face in our work.
How: Breaking bread, getting to know new people, connecting with friends, and sharing our perspectives in a psychologically safe place. Community first, content second.
What: Lunch and conversations. Maybe a short talk or presentation from peers from time to time. The first one will probably include an activity to learn what you think this community needs from one another.
This won't be: Death by PowerPoint, something you have to dress up for, or a place people give sales pitches.
Bottom line: If you're a coach, leader, OD or HR practitioner, strategist, or anyone else who takes a human approach to effecting change in individuals, teams, or organizations, this is for you.
Location: University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, The Deco Room, 4502 E 41st St, Tulsa, OK 74135
