Description

FSWC will be hosting the CRASE Active Shooter Training, facilitated by our Franklin County Sheriff's Department. I am cordially inviting you, your team, or your congregation to this free training session. If you are interested in attending, please send us an email stating the names of those who will be attending. Below is more information from the FCSD. With all of the Active shooter events happening across the world, it only makes sense to be prepared. Sign up and receive FREE training from Patrol and SWAT Deputies, who are passionate about what it takes to keep you safe! Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, and civilian response options.
