Have you ever wanted to learn to use a CNC mill? Come learn how to use a ShopBot CNC and design and make wooden coasters. Participants will make 4 coasters. Materials for the workshop include either curly maple or walnut. This workshop will walk you through how load your design, set up your material and use the machine to create carved wood items from digital designs. If you are interested in carving your own design you can bring a black and white image on a thumbdrive. The images below are examples of that would work well. Designs with more detail or intricate parts than these may not translate into engravings for this project. Give the coasters for Christmas or the workshop for an early Christmas. Ticket includes materials needed for workshop.
